Softball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Interlachen

Interlachen took a seven-run defeat the last time they faced off against Menendez, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Rams sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 9-8 victory over the Falcons on Tuesday. The win was nothing new for the Rams as they're now sitting on four straight.

Baileigh Riddley was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two triples, four RBI, and two runs. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Julianis Morales, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

The victory got Interlachen back to even at 9-9. As for Menendez, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Interlachen will head out to challenge Beachside at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Menendez, they will venture away from home to square off against Peniel Baptist Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
