Basketball Recap: Otis Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

Haxtun came into Tuesday's matchup looking for another win against Otis, but Aedyn Tribelhorn wouldn't allow it. The Otis Bulldogs walked away with a 45-36 win over the Haxtun Fightin' Bulldogs on Tuesday thanks in part to Tribelhorn, who went 6 of 14 on her way to 17 points in addition to seven steals and five boards. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last four games she's played.

Another player making a difference was Madison Reynolds, who posted four points and three steals. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in assists (four).

Despite the loss, Haxtun still got an impressive performance from Bobbi Starkebaum, who went 7 for 13 en route to 18 points and six rebounds. Leah Edwards was another key player, putting up eight points and eight boards.

Otis pushed their record up to 4-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Haxtun, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.

Otis has already played their next game, a 50-35 defeat against Idalia on the 17th. As for Haxtun, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 56-20 win against Peetz on the 17th.
