Volleyball Recap: Highlands Christian Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Joshua Oliveira and Henry De Andrade

Highlands Christian lost against Pine Crest back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Knights lost 3-0 to the Panthers. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Highlands Christian was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-16, 25-20.

Despite the loss, Highlands Christian had strong showings from Henry De Andrade, who had four digs and four aces, and Joshua Oliveira, who had five kills, four digs, and one block. Oliveira has been hot, having posted five or more kills the last five times he's played.

Highlands Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Pine Crest, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3.

Coming up, Highlands Christian will face off against Deerfield Beach at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Pine Crest, they will square off against American Heritage at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
