Basketball Recap: Ridgefield Comes Up Short

Ridgefield lost against R.A. Long back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Ridgefield Spudders lost 68-46 to the R.A. Long Lumberjacks.

Ridgefield has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-4 record this season. As for R.A. Long, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-1.

Ridgefield and R.A. Long should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings. Ridgefield (ranked 117th) will meet Tenino (ranked 284th) at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, R.A. Long (ranked 62nd) will meet Montesano (ranked 245th) at 6:45 p.m. on Monday.
