Soccer Recap: Friday's Victory Is Wellington's Sixth in Last Seven Outings

After losing to Park Vista the last time they met, Wellington decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Wellington Wolverines blew past the Park Vista Cobras 5-2 on Friday. Given the Wolverines' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 112th, while the Cobras are ranked 262nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Wellington is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-2-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those seven games. As for Park Vista, they moved to 7-10 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
