Soccer Recap: Dreyfoos School of the Arts Takes a Loss

Dreyfoos School of the Arts and Pompano Beach squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Dreyfoos School of the Arts had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Pompano Beach Golden Tornadoes by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, the Jaguars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 310th, while the Golden Tornadoes are ranked 133rd).

Dreyfoos School of the Arts' defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Pompano Beach, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4-1 record this season.
