Carver put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They strolled past the Northside Patriots with points to spare, taking the game 31-12. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Patriots, too.

Carver got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kelston Tarver out in front who rushed for 118 yards and two scores on only 11 carries. Tarver is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 109 every time he's taken the field this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jakobe Caslin, who gained 138 total yards and a touchdown.

Carver's run defense was locked in: Northside could only muster 3.1 yards per carry. The team can thank Daijon Daniels for the heroic effort on defense: he. That's the most yards per carry they've managed all season.

Carver's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Northside, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Carver didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 63-7 win against Columbus on the 19th. As for Northside, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Harris County at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th. The Patriots will be up against the Tigers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 32 points per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
