Canisteo-Greenwood lost to Avoca Central back in February, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Canisteo-Greenwood Chargers came out on top against the Avoca Central Tigers by a score of 47-37. The Chargers' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Canisteo-Greenwood pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.8 points per game. As for Avoca Central, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-2 record.

Canisteo-Greenwood will venture away from home to take on Dansville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Avoca Central, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Avoca Central Tigers duke it out with the Wellsville Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
