After flying high against the Marshall Rams last Monday, the Madison Mavericks came back down to earth. Madison fell just short of Lee by a score of 1-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, Madison has not been shut out since back in January.
Madison's defeat dropped their record down to 13-5-3. As for Lee, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-5-3.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Johnson the next time they take the pitch. Lee will head out to face Johnson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Madison will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
