Volleyball Recap: Central Gwinnett Takes a Loss

Central Gwinnett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Shiloh Generals. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Black Knights of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Central Gwinnett's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Shiloh, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-4.

Coincidentally, Central Gwinnett and Shiloh will both be playing Discovery the next time they take the court. The Generals will host the Titans at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Black Knights will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
