West Potomac scored the most points they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the South County Stallions by a score of 79-76. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Monday (66), the Wolverines still had to take the loss.

West Potomac has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.8 points per game. As for South County, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Potomac will venture away from home to challenge Woodson at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for South County, they will head out on the road to take on Fairfax at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
