Softball Recap: Robertsdale Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Robertsdale's offense. They came up short against the Saraland Spartans on Thursday, falling 6-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-0 back in February.

Robertsdale saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Braylin Blocker, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Robertsdale's loss dropped their record down to 17-16. As for Saraland, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 25-10-1.

Robertsdale has already played their next match (against Foley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Saraland, they will face off against Blount at 9:00 a.m. on Monday. The Leopards have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.55 runs per game on average), something the Spartans will no doubt try to take advantage of.
