On Monday Lampeter-Strasburg's undefeated season almost came to an end. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Penn Manor Comets. While the Pioneers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-9), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Natalie Hill spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on three hits. That's the fewest hits she has allowed since back in April of 2024.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Paige Baxter, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2. That stolen base was her first of the season.

Lampeter-Strasburg's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-0. As for Penn Manor, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lampeter-Strasburg will host Central York at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Penn Manor, they will welcome Twin Valley at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
