Soccer Game Preview: Naperville North vs. Normal Community

The Naperville North Huskies will face off against the Normal Community Ironmen at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Naperville North sitting on ten straight victories and Normal Community on four.

Naperville North is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They never let Naperville Central get on the board and left with a 2-0 win. Give Naperville North's defense some credit: that's the team's sixth straight shutout.

Sam Hess and Josh Pedersen scored both of Naperville North's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 36 goals.

Meanwhile, Normal Community won against Minooka on Tuesday with two goals and they decided to stick to that goal total again on Saturday. The Ironmen had just enough and edged out Collinsville 2-1. That's two games straight that Normal Community have won by just one goal.

Normal Community's victory bumped their record up to 19-3-4. As for Naperville North, their win bumped their record up to 22-0-4.
