Soccer Game Preview: Ingraham vs. Seattle Academy

The Ingraham Rams are taking a road trip to face off against the Seattle Academy Cardinals at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ingraham's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

On Tuesday, Ingraham came up short against Seattle Prep and fell 3-1. While losing is never fun, Ingraham can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 198th, while Seattle Prep are ranked 13th).

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Seattle Academy duked it out with Lakeside on Tuesday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 3-3 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked Seattle Academy's first draw of the season.

Ingraham's loss dropped their record down to 1-5-1. Seattle Academy's draw makes their record 4-3-1 this season.

Ingraham suffered a grim 4-1 defeat to Seattle Academy in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Rams avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
