The Chavez Titans's game on Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They snuck past Delano with a 60-55 victory. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Delano's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Juan Lopez , who scored 14 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Ibrahim Shuwait, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 15 rebounds.
Chavez's victory bumped their record up to 6-12. As for Delano, their loss dropped their record down to 12-6.
