Volleyball Recap: Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy Takes a Loss

Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy lost against South Lafourche back in August of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Swamp Owls fell just short of the Tarpons by a score of 3-2.

Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy took South Lafourche into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking seven-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-28, 25-17, 25-20, 20-25, 15-8.

South Lafourche got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Taylor Reynolds out in front who had 25 assists and 11 digs. That's the most digs Reynolds has posted since back in October of 2024. Carmen Orgeron was another key player, getting 13 digs.

Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 23-12. As for South Lafourche, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-8 record this season.

Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Haynes Academy on the 29th. South Lafourche does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
