After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mission College Prep, Cabrillo was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past the Pioneer Valley Panthers 3-0. The Conquistadores haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-10, 25-20.

Kaiya Brown paced Cabrillo's offense, picking up ten kills. Brown were helped by Taylor Savella and Jazlene Brady, who contributed ten assists each. Savella was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Cabrillo's win bumped their record up to 10-11-1. As for Pioneer Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 2-12.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Cabrillo will challenge rival Santa Maria at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Pioneer Valley is set to take on their familiar foe Righetti at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
