Cathedral Catholic extended the longest winning streak in Eastern this week by beating Lincoln, 38-0. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.

St. Augustine took down Mira Mesa 56-17 last week, the largest margin of any game. Joe Joe Hudson threw for 108 yards and 2 touchdowns and ran for 31 yards during the win.

The Saints' offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Elijah Preston contributed 154 yards. Ryan Harris helped St. Augustine's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 45 yards.

Preston was a passing and rushing force as St. Augustine topped the Marauders. Preston's key target this week was Bradley Hamel, who caught 2 passes for 68 yards.

Preston was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 154 yards on 15 carries as Richard Sanchez's team defeated Mira Mesa. Teammate Tyler Herburger added to the ground attack by rushing for 67 yards.

The Saints' Hudson and Harris have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-1 quarterback Hudson has thrown for 824 yards this season, while Harris has 19 catches for 315 yards. Chris Moliga from Cathedral Catholic leads the league in rushing with 802 yards.

The top two teams in Eastern will face off this week when first place Cathedral Catholic takes on second place St. Augustine. Sean Doyle's team defeated the Hornets last week, while St. Augustine bested the Marauders.

The Saints' offense has recorded 265 points this season, making them No. 1 in the league, while the Dons have permitted only 71 on the year.
