Recap: Providence Day Chargers vs. Ravenscroft Ravens
The Providence Day Chargers can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They walked away with a 42-30 win over Ravenscroft. That's another feather in the cap for Providence Day, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Providence Day can attribute much of their success to Katelyn Ramsden, who scored 14 points along with 9 rebounds and 3 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Layla Clark, who scored 10 points.
Despite the loss, Ravenscroft had strong showings from Hannah Mason, who scored 9 points, and Zoe Adams, who scored 12 points. The match was Adams' fifth in a row with at least ten points.
The win got Providence Day back to even at 4-4. As for Ravenscroft, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.
Providence Day will head out on the road to face off against Durham Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Durham Academy is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home. Ravenscroft will take on Charlotte Latin at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
