First Baptist School won the last time they faced Battery Creek and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Hurricanes put the hurt on the Dolphins with a sharp 15-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Hurricanes, who have now won ten games by seven runs or more so far this season.

The victory (which was First Baptist School's third in a row) raised their record to 11-4. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.7 runs over those games. As for Battery Creek, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Looking ahead, First Baptist School will be playing in front of their home fans against Porter-Gaud at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Battery Creek, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Orangeburg-Wilkinson at 6:00 p.m. on the 21st.
