Soccer Recap: Woonsocket Takes a Loss

Woonsocket lost against Tolman last Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Villa Novans came up short against the Tigers, falling 4-1.

Woonsocket's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Tolman, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6-2 record this season.

Woonsocket will take on Blackstone Valley Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tolman, they will challenge Hope at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Tolman will be up against Hope's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.2 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
