Baseball Recap: LaVergne Comes Up Short

LaVergne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Providence Christian Academy LIONS, falling 22-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the LIONS this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 back in March.

LaVergne now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Providence Christian Academy, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-10-1.

While LaVergne had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
