Football Game Preview: Northwest Indians vs. Fairless Falcons

The Northwest Indians will head out on the road to challenge the Fairless Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Northwest will be strutting in after a win while Fairless will be coming in after a defeat.

While Northwest's victory against Tuslaw wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, the Indians made off with a 13-12 win over the Mustangs. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Indians' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 163rd, while the Mustangs are ranked 338th).

Meanwhile, Fairless was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a hard 31-14 fall against Canton South.

Fairless' defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Northwest, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2.

Northwest strolled past Fairless when the teams last played back in September of 2024 by a score of 31-14. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
