Volleyball Recap: Bishop Moore Takes a Loss

Bishop Moore was the 2-1 winner over Horizon when they last played one another back in October of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Hornets fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

Kaylee Winkler paced Bishop Moore's offense, picking up ten kills. Winkler got some help from Camila Valenzuela and her seven assists.

Bishop Moore's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Horizon, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 18-4.

Bishop Moore wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Mater Lakes Academy on the 4th. As for Horizon, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against DeLand on the 4th.
