Hackett is a perfect 4-0 against Acorn since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Hornets will be playing at home against the Tigers at 4:30 p.m. Hackett's pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so Acorn's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Hackett's hitters will try to repeat the strong performance they gave on Thursday, when they got past Scranton's usually-dominant pitching crew. The Hornets put the hurt on the Rockets with a sharp 11-1 win. The Hornets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by ten runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Acorn took on Hector on Friday. The Tigers came up short against the Wildcats, falling 13-1. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The victory made it two in a row for Hackett and bumps their season record up to 15-3. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.0 runs over those games. As for Acorn, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.

Everything went Hackett's way against Acorn in their previous matchup back in March, as Hackett made off with a 15-0 victory. Will the Hornets repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
