Volleyball Recap: Oakmont Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Center last Thursday, Oakmont came back down to earth. The Vikings lost 3-0 to the Lincoln Fighting Zebras on Tuesday. The Vikings were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Fighting Zebras earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

While Oakmont ultimately came up short, they really made Lincoln work, particularly in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-23, 25-19.

Isabella Peters paced Oakmont's offense, picking up ten kills. Peters got some help from Elisabel Lumley Garcia and her ten assists. Lumley Garcia was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

With the defeat, Oakmont broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 13-11. As for Lincoln, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-13.

Oakmont has already played their next match (against Marysville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Lincoln also has no score uploaded for their next matchup, this one against Center.
