Recap: Foxcroft Academy Ponies vs. Dexter Tigers
The Foxcroft Academy Ponies were the 62-35 winner over the Dexter Tigers when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. Foxcroft Academy fell to Dexter 52-47.
Dexter found their leader in underclassman Bryce Cooper, who scored 15 points along with two steals. That's the first time this season that Cooper scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kody Kimball, who scored eight points along with four blocks.
Foxcroft Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Dexter, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Foxcroft Academy will take on Hermon at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Dexter, they will head out on the road to face off against George Stevens Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. George Stevens Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past four matchups -- so hopefully Dexter likes a good challenge.
