Volleyball Recap: Spring Hill Broncos vs. Hayden Wildcats
Spring Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Hayden Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 on September 11th.
The final score came out to 25-17, 25-16.
Kaliyah Phifer paced Spring Hill's offense, picking up six kills. Phifer got some help from Elina Douglas and her ten assists. Douglas was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.
Spring Hill's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Hayden, the victory snapped their losing streak at four matches and leaves them with a 15-4 record.
Spring Hill wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Bishop Carroll on the 27th. As for Hayden, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Maize South on the 27th.
