Basketball Game Preview: North Polk Comets vs. Johnston Dragons

The North Polk Comets will face off against the Johnston Dragons at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Friday, North Polk earned a 56-47 win over Boone.

Meanwhile, Johnston entered their tilt with Jefferson on Friday with three consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Yellowjackets 78-40. 78 seems to be a good number for the Dragons as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

North Polk's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-12. As for Johnston, their victory bumped their record up to 12-8.
