Basketball Recap: Camden Gets Big Win over Higher-Ranked Paul VI

Camden's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 68-56 victory over the Paul VI Eagles. The win was all the more spectacular given the Panthers' disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 88th, while the Eagles are ranked eighth).

The victory snapped Camden's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-3 record. As for Paul VI, with the loss, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-2.

Camden will take on Patrick School at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Patrick School's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Paul VI, they will challenge Shawnee at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
