Chagrin Falls skates past Hawken with ease

After losing to the Hawken Hawks the last time they met, the Chagrin Falls Tigers decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Chagrin Falls really took it to Hawken for the full four quarters, racking up a 58-22 victory at home. The team accrued 50 points in the first half and coasted on those for the win.
Chagrin Falls was led to victory by Avery Russell and Lilly Stukus. Russell scored 20 points along with 6 rebounds, while Stukus scored 22 points along with 7 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which Russell has scored at least 25% of Chagrin Falls' points.
The win makes it two in a row for Chagrin Falls and bumps their season record up to 2-3. As for Hawken, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chagrin Falls will face off against St. Joseph Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Hawken, they will head out on the road to face off against Bay at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
