Volleyball Recap: Mount Miguel Matadors vs. Steele Canyon Cougars

Mount Miguel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Steele Canyon Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-15, 25-27, 25-11.

Several Matadors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jamall Soulivong, who had 16 digs. Joel Estrella also deserves some recognition as he had his first block of the season.

Mount Miguel's defeat dropped their record down to 4-27. As for Steele Canyon, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-11.
