Basketball Game Preview: Central Valley Hawks vs. Livingston Wolves

Two dominant guards in Jace Mclennon and Adrian Aguirre are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Central Valley Hawks will host the Livingston Wolves at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The timing is sure in Central Valley's favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while Livingston has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road.

Last Monday, Central Valley came up short against Beyer and fell 55-47. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 700th, while the Patriots are ranked 266th).

Meanwhile, Livingston ended up a good deal behind Grace Davis on Monday and lost 72-54.

Central Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 12-12. As for Livingston, their loss dropped their record down to 7-16.

Central Valley didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Livingston in their previous meeting back in January, but they still walked away with a 65-61 win. Will Central Valley repeat their success, or does Livingston have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
