Soccer Recap: St. Teresa Takes a Loss

St. Teresa came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 7-0 to the Auburn Trojans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to St. Teresa of the 11-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.

With the defeat, St. Teresa broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-3. As for Auburn, they moved to 4-5 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Teresa will venture away from home to square off against Unity Christian/Argenta Oreana/Decatur Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Auburn, they will head out to face off against Athens/PORTA at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
