Volleyball Recap: Quentin Road Christian Find Success

After losing to Marquette Manor Baptist Academy the last time they met, Quentin Road Christian decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Quentin Road Christian narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Marquette Manor Baptist Academy 2-1.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Quentin Road Christian got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 30-32, 25-14.

Despite the loss, Marquette Manor Baptist Academy still got an impressive performance from Sophia Mukenschnabl, who had 11 digs and five aces. Mukenschnabl is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last four games she's played dating back to last season.

Quentin Road Christian now has a winning record of 1-0-1. As for Marquette Manor Baptist Academy, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 1-2.

Looking ahead, Marquette Manor Baptist Academy will take on Berean Christian at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
