Softball Recap: Lamar Silver Foxes vs. Timberland Wolves
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lamar). They were the clear victor by a 12-1 margin over the Timberland Wolves on Saturday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Silver Foxes needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.
Jordyn Scarbrough was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. She also brought in two RBI, marking her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Taylor Guinn, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
