Softball Recap: University Takes a Loss

After flying high against Waco last Tuesday, University came back down to earth. The Trojans came up short against the Lake Belton Broncos on Friday, falling 13-1. The Trojans haven't had much luck with the Broncos recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

University's loss dropped their record down to 8-6-1. As for Lake Belton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 18 of their last 19 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-2 record this season.

Coincidentally, University and Lake Belton will both be playing Belton the next time they take the field. The Broncos will host the Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Trojans will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
