Baseball Recap: Crestview Takes a Loss

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Crestview was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Brookfield Warriors by a score of 3-2. The Rebels were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Warriors earlier this season, when they won 10-5.

Wyatt Ervin was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 1-for-3.

Crestview now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Brookfield, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crestview will challenge John F. Kennedy Catholic at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Brookfield, they will face off against Jackson-Milton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
