Soccer Game Preview: Mooresville vs. Lake Norman + How To Watch

The Mooresville Blue Devils will head out on the road to face off against the Lake Norman Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Mooresville comes in on seven and Lake Norman on six.

On Thursday, Mooresville got the win against North Iredell by a conclusive 5-2. That's two games straight that Mooresville have won by exactly three goals.

Their offense was hitting North Iredell from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal.

Meanwhile, Lake Norman kept a clean sheet against South Iredell on Thursday. They blew past the Vikings 3-0. Given Lake Norman's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 15th, while South Iredell are ranked 166th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lake Norman's win bumped their record up to 12-1-2. As for Mooresville, their victory bumped their record up to 11-4-1.

Mooresville couldn't quite get it done against Lake Norman in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Blue Devils avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
