Volleyball Recap: Roy Comes Up Short

Roy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Clearfield Falcons, falling 3-0. If the Royals were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Falcons when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While Roy was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-17, 25-20.

Roy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Clearfield, they pushed their record up to 7-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Roy will take on rival Woods Cross at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Clearfield is set to face off against their familiar foe Bountiful at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
