Softball Recap: Booker T. Washington Comes Up Short

Booker T. Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 26th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Maury Commodores, falling 17-5. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mighty Bookers of the 15-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Booker T. Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Maury, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Coming up, Booker T. Washington will welcome Lake Taylor at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Titans have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 24 runs per game on average), something the Mighty Bookers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Maury, they will head out to square off against Oscar Smith at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
