Football Recap: Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Laurel-Concord-Coleridge unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell 21-8 to the Guardian Angels Central Catholic Bluejays on Friday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

Drey Puppe threw for 104 yards and one touchdown. Tyler Boysen was his top target, picking up 38 receiving yards.

The critical scores for Guardian Angels Central Catholic came from Isaac Guenther, Trevor Steffen, and Luke Guenther.
