Softball Recap: Freeman Scotties vs. Liberty Lancers
Freeman proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by 13) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a run and slipped past the Liberty Lancers 5-4. The victory was familiar territory for the Scotties, who have now won four games in a row.

Kaylee Ripke spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned runs on eight hits and racked up 12 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances.
