After flying high against Orosi on Wednesday, Corcoran came back down to earth. The Panthers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hoover Patriots on Saturday. The Panthers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Corcoran now has a losing record of 8-9-2. As for Hoover, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.

Corcoran didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Atwater on the 20th. As for Hoover, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Fowler on the 20th.
