Basketball Game Preview: Bingham Miners vs. Fremont Silverwolves

The Bingham Miners will take on the Fremont Silverwolves at 9:10 p.m. on Monday. Bingham has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Bingham is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They put the hurt on Corner Canyon with a sharp 60-40 victory. The win continues a trend for the Miners in their matchups with the Chargers: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, Fremont had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They took down the Warriors 53-39. The Silverwolves pushed the score to 41-19 by the end of the third, a deficit the Warriors cut but never quite recovered from.

Bingham's victory bumped their record up to 17-7. As for Fremont, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-3.

Bingham was dealt a bruising 68-37 defeat at the hands of Fremont when the teams last played back in March of 2022. Can Bingham avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
