While Eureka didn't have the best season last year (they finished 12-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 59-51 win over Kelseyville on Saturday. Given the Loggers' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 164th, while the Knights are ranked 755th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Estrada continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Hiscox, who had eight points.
