After having lost a blowout in their previous game against West Caldwell, East Gaston was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Lincoln Charter Eagles as they made off with a 13-7 victory. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 16 matchups by six runs or more this season.

Madi Perrigo spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and four unearned) runs on 13 hits.

On the hitting side, Lilly Rymer was a standout: she got on base in three of her five plate appearances with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Kendra Anderson, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run.

The win snapped East Gaston's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 19-5 record. As for Lincoln Charter, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-6 record this season.
