Baseball Game Preview: Greenville Tigers vs. Citronelle Wildcats

Greenville is on a five-game streak of home losses, and Citronelle a five-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The Greenville Tigers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Citronelle Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Greenville's offense. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 6-0 to Charles Henderson, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Meanwhile, Citronelle came up short against Mobile Christian on Friday, falling 13-2.

Citronelle saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Curvin Noyd, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Citronelle's loss dropped their record down to 9-18. As for Greenville, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-14.

Greenville might still be hurting after the 11-1 loss they got from Citronelle in their previous meeting back in March of 2023. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
