Baseball Game Preview: Summit Christian Academy Eagles vs. Edison Eagles

Summit Christian Academy will venture away from home to take on Edison at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Summit Christian Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season.

On Thursday, Summit Christian Academy made easy work of Aspire HomeSchool and carried off a 12-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won nine matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Caden Antle was excellent, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Nathan Antle, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Edison beat Wagoner 11-8 on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Summit Christian Academy's record is now 12-8. As for Edison, their record now sits at 4-13.

Summit Christian Academy couldn't quite get it done against Edison in their previous matchup back in March as they fell 5-1. Can Summit Christian Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
